Carissa Barnett is blessed to be the mother of three people she loves to pieces. Born and raised in Texas, she’s always been fascinated with folklore from other countries. One day, she sat down to write a story that had been knocking on the back of her mind and was surprised and delighted when a children’s book emerged.
Having seen the trials her own children went through as they grew up; her dearest wish is to help brighten the lives of kids around the world with her stories. When she isn’t spending time with her family or writing, her favorite pastime is indulging her nerdy side, usually with a bucket of rocky road ice cream close at hand.
