Stephen Cole

Father, Author, Poet

Born in Alabama, he has lived in Ohio, Texas, and currently resides in Missouri. His life has taken him to Spain, Italy, through the Panama Canal, and many states. Being near bodies of water, from small ponds to oceans, is calming and feeds his soul.

Writing is an escape that allows his mind to release by expressing the thoughts in his head.

He has two amazing daughters that have inspired him more than words could ever express. Forever aspiring to be the person they can be proud of even when he fails them, more often than not.

The writing...the rhyming...the journey. Steve started writing as a teen and never really considered himself talented enough to explore it further and eventually walked away. Fast forward through life and adventures, and the CURSE kept haunting him. He started writing more to be flirtatious and bring comfort to those that needed it around him. Now he surrenders to the gift or curse and writes.

In a park near his home is where you can find Steve at least once a day. He writes, listens to nature, makes videos, and allows himself to enjoy peace. Nature is where he enjoys writing the most.

If you can't find Stephen Cole on social media that is because he uses Neal Stephens as his pen name. He chose to publish his first book, Curesed by a Gift, under his real name because this book is very special to him. Having his real name associated to it seemed appropriate.
